Is there difference in housing in Apple Watch Series

I have bought a new Apple Watch Series 3. However, I want to go ahead and replace it with a aftermarket housing. Problem comes in, that these housings were introduced when Apple had just recently introduced Apple Watch.

My question is, is there a huge difference in those housings? If not, can I replace the housing made for Apple Watch, 1, or 2 into the Series 3 Apple Watch?

I am not entirely sure I am clear on your question. You want to take all the internals out of the Watch and put them in something else? From the s0 through the s3 the internals are not the same nor are they the same sizes.

Each of the three different series of watches - the Original and Series 1, the Series 2, and the Series 3 - all have the same width and height for the two different 38 mm and 42 mm sizes, but the thicknesses are slightly different. The differences are about 1 mm between the original and the Series 2, and, in fact, I think the difference between the Series 2 and Series 3 was that the heart rate sensor was the part that was thicker.
