So this is only my second night of doing this, but I can charge about 10 minutes before going to bed and about the same in the morning and it seems to work well.. but time will tell.
    Brilliant!
I might give it a try.

I charge when I’m getting ready in the morning and getting ready for bed. I’ve pretty much got it on all other times.

If you wear your Watch to sleep, when do you charge it?
I put mine on the charger first thing when I wake up. By the time I have coffee/breakfast, make lunch for the day, and shower mine is usually back or very close to 100%.

The idea of monitoring my sleep is appealing, but the watch needs charging, and I do that every night. I guess I could wear the watch to sleep, and charge it during the day, but then I would not be monitoring my activities.

What are others doing about this situation?
One of the reasons I bought another watch. I like wearing mine 24/7 except when showering. When the battery needs charged, I charge it and put on another watch.

AutoSleep is updated to version 5. The UI is better, plus the watch app itself is great. You can just use the watch app to see sleep statistics rather than have to look at the iPhone. A great app is even better.

See rel5 - AutoSleep for what's new in the app.

How long does AutoSleep take to process data? Sometimes SleepMatic takes all day to update.

Little to no processing time. Data is readily available and accurate.

It's right in the link in my post.

AutoSleep 5's sleep detection now completes in around 0.2 - 0.4 seconds. AutoSleep 4 on iOS 11 took anything from 3 to 12 seconds. So lets just say it's considerably faster!

I use AutoSleep. I wanted something that would automatically track my sleep and I didn’t have to manually start and stop it.

I love AutoSleep, especially since the recent upgrade to V5. I use it in conjunction with HeartWatch.

The main thing I haven’t yet figured out is how to interpret the “quality” and “restful” numbers. Is the goal supposed to be 100% for both? If so, how do you work toward that goal?

Been using auto sleep since I got my aw3 6 months ago and love it. This week, it has been showing me as awake for 30-40 minute period always between 3am and 4am. This is not the case, and very odd.

Make sure to use the Wizard in Settings.

I wear my watch to bed and put my iPhone on the dock on my nightstand. When my iPhone moves it detects that I’m awake. That’s why I make sure my phone is never on my bed when I’m going to bed.

Here are the screenshots of how I’ve set my wizard.
