Does anyone have Flights Climbed working on a Series 3 Apple watch and an Iphone 7 or 7 Plus???

My Ipjhone 7 Plus is on 11.0.2
Apple Watch Series 3 is on 4.0.1

I have tried the following:
Swapped out the Series 3 with a new one
Swapped out the IPhone 7 Plus with a new one
Setup both with NO Apple ID
Setup both to to factory settings (Erase all contents and Data Plan)

Before you answer please verify that the Flights Climbed are NOT coming from your IPhone.

To check if the data is coming from your watch NOT the phone:
Health App > Flights Climbed > Show All Data > click one one of the data entries by date > then select one of the data points/entries > scroll down to DEVICE DETAILS this will tell you Apple Watch or the Iphone

Apple Genius and Applecare are totally stumped

Thank You for your help in advance

I don’t have a series 3 Watch, but hopefully those who do will reply soon.

How would one determine the data is coming from the watch? I don’t see any way to tell the difference.

Here are 4 screen shots from my iPhone 8, iOS 11.1 dev beta, Series 3 GPS Watch, WatchOS 4.1 dev beta.

Hope this helps. Looks as though the data is coming from both.

Works here. When I first received my watch I thought it wasn’t working either so I went up and down the stairs a few times with my phone and watch together and then just the watch and it has been working fine for me since.

Forgot to add that I have the 8+ like the poster above.

I've tried stairs with both Iphone and watch then separate, only the Iphone registers the flights climbed, so disheartening.

Resetting both devices to factory setting and setting up as a new IPhone with no Apple ID still doesnt work,

Again I have an Iphone 7 Plus on 11.0.2 and Series 3 on 4.0.2

When I check the health app on my iPhone 6s running 11.0.2, all the data on flights climbed is coming from my AW series 3.

BTW, the sequence of steps you showed does not work for me. I had to look at each data point on the long list to see what the source was.

Actually, both my iPhone and the AW are recording flights climbed. My heart rate was going up trying to figure out how to get where you found your data, but I finally figured it out. It makes sense, too, as the watch, which I wear all day, shows 12 flights climbed, while the iPhone shows 7 flights climbed. That's because I often leave my phone on my desk while I run upstairs to get something.
