Can the Apple Watch 3 be used as a hotspot to tether other devices.

Similar to the iPhone where I can use it to access the net with my wifi only iPad. If I can use the Watch 3 as a hotspot then I am seriously considering buying a Watch 3.

I doubt it. I can't see the watch modem being able to push enough data to a device to be of use.

Doubt it and that would also murder your watch battery in a quick minute.
