Wallet not syncing from iphone to apple watch

I have tickets that I have downloaded into my wallet and they are not syncing to my Apple Watch.
I have tried restarting both devices but still no luck.
I have a iPhone 7 Plus and an Apple Watch 2.
I am running the latest operating system on both devices

Make sure that your Watch is indeed connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth and then make sure your iPhone has internet access, either via cellular or Wi-Fi.

I have tickets to an event starting tomorrow morning and they appear in the Wallet app on both my iPhone X and Series 3 Watch.
