I went to change my watch band today and couldn't get one side to lock in. I noticed the little magnet on that side is missing. Any way to get a new one? I'm afraid my band might fall off.

Can you not just purchase a new charger for your Watch? That’s my recommendation.

It's not the charger. The slot where you slide the band in had a small magnet that locks the watch band in place. That magnet is what is missing. But thank you.

Oh I’m sorry for misreading your post. You may have to stop by a nearby Apple Store and see if they can take care of it for you.

Let's play guess the problem without any clues:

He's got a Milanese Loop band and it was on backwards so the magnet wasn't sticking?

Or was it Col. Mustard in the kitchen with a candlestick.

In my defense, I did know that it wasn't an issue with the charger.

My guess is that the one side of the band was upside-down. If you look at a top side and a bottom side of the strap where it attaches, you'll see that they are different, and (at least a genuine Apple strap) will not lock in when it is upside-down.

It is the band. The smaller of the two refuses to lock in so I just switched to the larger size.

I've found that for my third party bands, some of the little latch pieces sometimes gets stuck and I have to shove them back out from the other side before they'll catch on the watch. Never have this issue with my Apple branded bands.
