@reeneebob - you own over 50 watches? Would love to see some of your collection!

The ones I could get at easily.

Some are in my old room at my parents house. My mom 'borrowed' several Swatches. Lol

Bands for the 42 and 38mm Watches are not interchangeable.

It sounds like you used the shorter S/M strap included with your 42mm Watch for use on a smaller wrist instead of the longer M/L strap.

As a new AW user I am still learning. I only mentioned the 38mm band because this information came from the Representative at BB who sold me the AW Series 2. So to be clear I chose the 42mm AW Series 2 and used the S/M band included in the box for smaller wrists.

I went to the Apple store multiple times debating which size. I even ordered the 38mm and called to cancel my order before it shipped! I only wanted the 38 for the Hermes double tour band but in the store the associate had me try on both the 38 and 42 with the Hermes band (38mm bands don't "fit" a 42mm watch as the smaller adapters indent in the slot, but it will lock for try on purposes) and I just loved the chunky look of the 42mm. The 38 looked like a square nugget, whereas the 42 was more rectangular, so I felt it balanced the thickness of the watch. I ended up getting the 42mm and a quality third party double tour band. It just looks great asthetically I think once paired with bracelets/bangles. And let's face it, until there's a thin version of the watch, both sizes are clunky so why not enjoy the extra screen real estate?
