I just got my first(?) Apple Watch this week, it's connected to an iPhone 7+.

The phone app BeWeather has a Watch App that claims to also include a Complication. Yet, when I go to set the Complication to add to a watch face, I cannot locate it in the available Complication list(s).

Am I missing something, or are they?

Try adding the complication from the actual watch. Force press the watch face and customize. Some of the complications I use don't show in the Apple Watch app on my phone but can be selected on the actual watch face.
