Upscaling!!

Something I didn’t realize is that the 4K Apple TV upscales ALL content. I cut the cord from cable and switched to DirecTVNow which I watch via my Apple TV app. All the channels now look AMAZING. This is quite the added bonus. I was only expecting to enjoy my iTunes movies and Netflix at a higher resolution. Now I’m even happier that I bought this thing.

PSA: In the Netflix update today it says you need a premium account for HDR video.

On topic though, that’s awesome, now I’m really tempted to get one.

Yep. You have to upgrade to the $11.99 plan to be able to stream 4K/HDR content.
