I'm vexed that Hulu w/ Live TV beta base subscription can stream its service on two screens at once

Could one or both of your TV screens begin to cache or stutter d/t custom add-ons/services? Is this an issue that can be addressed by a modem with a wider data pipe and/or a router with a speedier data transfer rate?
