Might sound kinda strange, but I love the Apple TV and would like to own one, but I don't have a TV. Currently, I watch everything from my 2015 13" Air, but that's not retina! I'm looking to upgrade to a larger 15" Pro but still would like to have an Apple TV app for my Mac. Honestly it would be for gaming, I think iOS games are better and will continue to improve over Macs own games and the ones on steam, that I'd like to play my iPhone/Apple TV games on my Mac. I even might opt for a monitor in the future for my Mac, so that would be a big plus for a Apple TV for Mac.

What do you think?

You cannot use an TV to stream games 'to a Mac', unless you have a tv tuner / hdmi input feature, f that's what you're trying to do. If you're just fantasizing about having an TV or TV app specifically for the Mac, maybe in the future.

Yeah I want a TV app on my Mac though I know more than likely they'd still make me buy an actual TV hardware, that my Mac could "see" and then could use to view TV on my Mac.
