MLB App Question

I have the Apple TV 4 and every time I try to watch a baseball game after it has started I can't get it to go to live. I can on my phone and computer but I bought the Apple TV for this is large part since I'm a huge baseball junky.

Have you purchased a subscription for the MLB channel on your TV?

Yes, I purchased the single team online subscription that they introduced this year. I just want to jump to live if it's late at night on a west coast trip since I'll already be up later than I want during the work week on the East Coast.
