How can I get my Apple TV working?

My apple tv is not working

when I turn it on I get two images ... computers and settings.... settings doesn't help

Have you tried unplugging the HDMI cable and waiting a minute and replugging it?

Welcome to iMore! Is it booting to the homescreen but all of the other shortcuts are missing? Can you post a screenshot (take a picture with your phone and attach it to your reply)?
