So I keep having these errors with YouTube, Netflix, and Hulu where it says the network has disconnected and often times I need to restart the whole Apple TV 4th gen to get it working again when I start the device from sleep mode.. Any idea if this is a app issue or a device issue is want apple to look at?

Yes I've experienced these issues too. But it turned out to be a network issue. Once my ISP came out to check things out I haven't had a single issue. They came two weeks ago, so knock on wood I stay problem free. None of my other devices were a problem. It was only an issue with the tv.

Well I'm wondering if it's a isp issue or a firmware issue then. I don't see anything working with my isp on my other stuff

I've yet to encounter anything like that on my 4th generation Apple TV and on my 3rd gen before that.

I haven't seen any other persistent issues being talked about on here so I tend to think it's an ISP or a wifi issue. Is there a wired connection from your router to your AppleTV? If not try it out and see if it fixes your issue.
If it's a firmware problem you can use iTunes and a USB-C cable to restore your AppleTV.

I have never had any problems on any of my Apple TV's. I've had a 2, 3 and 4. And all mine have been on Wi-Fi.
