Why is a number suffix being added on my Apple TV?

Number suffix on my Apple TV

When I open Airplay on my iPhone, my Apple TV shows as "Apple TV 3". This is my only Apple TV, so why is there a number being added, and how do I correct it?

No, not to my knowledge. But, it wouldn't show up on my network anyway.
