No airplay on iPhone or iPad???

I have used airplay on both my iPhone and iPad (both running 7.1) in the past but when I tried to use it a week ago and neither device shows airplay in the control center (only AirDrop) even though I have turned airplay on on my Apple TV. What can I do to get airplay back?

I would restart both devices. When this happens to me a restart fixes it. You can also try toggling WiFi on and off.
