Maybe I'm alone in this, but I don't want an actual Apple TV. I just want a box that can be easily replaced when new hardware is available. I definitely wouldn't upgrade an actual tv like I do iOS devices. When a new TV comes out I won't hesitate to throw down $100. Great job on the pics though, well except for the gold.

I agree. I would be hesitant about buying a TV that I would have to upgrade. I would definitely upgrade a current Apple TV.

You've done a really good job here. The detail, especially the start button on the back, is perfect. The gold looks fantastic in the minimal industrial interior one you have imagined. I would pre-order this in an instant. Please do a dark grey version, too?
