Oops... didn’t mean to make my post sound so cryptic or elitist. The updates are definitely still covered by NDA, but the following infois generally available by doing a web search.
The biggest new features are the iTunes radio (very much like the iPhone iTunes radio app), Conference Room mode ("screen saver" type screen that provides connection instructions - primarily aimed at business and academic settings), a redesigned menu that provides more control over what AppleTV channels are seen/hidden and better/enhanced Bluetooth keyboard support/pairing. Certainly nothing earth shaking, but definitely some evolutionary changes...

I've been a owner of ATV for almost 1 year. LOVE IT. Why doesn't tim (or anyone else) ever talk about ATV? (software or hardware). Is it not a big thing?
