Hi guys and gals. I am about to set up a Media Center using apple products.
I will be buying a mac mini for the main device and a couple external drives for storage of movies and music. That mac mini will be in the living room connected to a 42incher.
I have 2 apple tv's 3. 1 in my room and 1 in my kids room. The are both connected via ethernet.
I have a Hackintosh in the computer room, my son has a hackintosh in his room and I have a MBP for my use that no one else touches.
I would like to use home sharing from itunes, but would hate to have to log in with my main apple id. Is it possible to create a new, Family ID that I can log in on all devices with to enable home sharing and still use my personal id on the macbook pro?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
