I just recently bought an Apple TV. I've used AirPlay Mirroring from my ipad2 to the Apple TV. Am I able to use AirPlay mirroring from my MacBook Pro to Apple TV? If so, how can I do that? I'd like to AirPlay shows from Hulu. Seems like Hulu doesn't work on the iPad. I'm not a Hulu Plus subscriber.

Can't Airplay from Macs... yet. It has been alleged the functionality may appear in the next OSX release.

Lack of content? There's all of iTunes... on the AppleTV3 there's Netflix... Youtube, Vimeo, plus any personal content you've ripped into iTunes... or if you want to use a TV as a second display on a mac - all you need is proper cables...

You can always JB the AppleTV and install aTVFlash for more content... but the AppleTV is coming along nicely for a "hobby" device.

I'm looking to completely dump cable tv. I already have Netflix. With roku, I can directly access Hulu and watch current tv shows on my tv. I'm a UFC fan and roku has a dedicated channel for UFC. There is a variety of other channels and private channels to explore. I don't want to pay for everything through iTunes.
