Are there any alternative remotes out there?

I have the little Siri remote but I don’t like the feel of it. Kind of small and slips out of your hand. Are there alternatives?

Plenty, it just depends on what you want the remote to do, and none of them have Siri functionality. Your actual TV remote should also work.

Have that same case in red and really like it! Actually purchased that before I got the Apple tv 4k. While the siri remote may not be the best I don't particularly mind it. I ended up getting a Logitech Harmony remote cause my wife was ready to throw the stock remote out the window!!

The only issue I have with my Apple remote is having to scroll through all the channels to find the one your looking for.

Being the channels aren’t numerically numbered on the Direct TV app, that’s the only option at the moment.

The two features cable offered I miss where the channels where numbered and the TV guide channel. But, for the 80 dollars a month I have saved using streaming, I will put up with the Apple remote shortcomings.

Have blue, green, and orange for the three different rooms with Apple TV.

I am also hooking up my basement theater room now, and need a universal remote to control the projector, receiver, etc. I have a Logitech remote on the way which supposedly works with the Apple TV. I will report back once I can test it out.

I do too. I find the remote app to be far more functional than the physical Siri remote
