Got my hopes up until I read the first post.

I'd be tempted to grab an Ag S1 at a sale price, and then off my Au Sport.

I'm ok with the naming convention:

Apple Watch
Apple Watch Sport
Apple Watch Edition
Apple Watch Hermès
Apple Watch Nike+
Apple Watch Series 1
Apple Watch Series 2

Using alternative nomenclature such as generation 1 or Series 0 had probably caused almost as much confusions as clarification. Apple could use more generic terms, but that's so blasé, lacking élan, devoid of panaché.

The world, and tech world especially, is full of drab, hard to remember model numbers; it could be worse— Casio for instance. It takes a minute or two to get the Apple stuff down, but it works for me.

And yeah— I was looking a the BB ads a few days ago, and there were no 42mm S1s available on line or anywhere near me.
