There are many stores in the UK where Pay is unlimited. It’s great!
Why ?

I don’t need to take a card/wallet with me. Just my watch !
I can't wait for my AW to get here and set it up.
Just hope I can get used to the square look and the electronic interface being I love my mechanical round watches.
I may stand corrected. But don’t you need to enable two factor authentication for Apple Pay? That’s why I haven’t used it, I am afraid of enabling it.
I don’t want issues with my phone should I need to reset to factory settings.
Hmmm, I’m not sure about that, but heck, I’ve been using Pay since it’s been available.

Thanks sir. And to answer the question, yes you do.
I used to have Apple Pay enabled when I had my 6, but did not have it enabled.
Apple is now increasing their security, and are now requiring two factor authentication.
At least that’s the feedback I got from support awhile back.
There was another posting about it, you have two weeks to disable it through an email support sends you. If you do not, it becomes permanent.

I’m just seeing this. Although Apple Pay Cash has to be setup separately than Apple Pay, I haven’t had to setup two factor authentication. Are you in the US?
And just to be clear..Apple Pay & Apple Pay Cash are two separate items.

Thanks nikki, yes I am. And my apologies, I may have had the two mixed up.
But, now I am getting this when I try to activate and verify my card.
That looks like I am enabling two factor authentication.
What’s odd, I always thought my card was added, since I was able to make purchases.
It makes me wonder what method of payment they were using.
Ok, now I see what is going on, which I am not sure I understand.
If I go into my payment methods, my card is there. If I try to add it to the wallet app, that’s when I see the activation, as though I have to enable two factor authentication.

This message for adding your card to your wallet only helps verify your identity. It’s just a safeguard in case your card was stolen & someone else was trying to add your card to their phone. This doesn’t enable two factor authentication.
I've used it a couple times.
Until more places accept it, it won't be my go to.
