Now that NEws+ is available, what do you think of it? Will you be paying for it? What would you need to see added to make you want to pay for it?

I subscribed to a few magazines in the past. when those subscriptions expire (unfortunately, not until December), I'll save money by moving to News+. Then I certainly will do so.

No Apple News+ for me. I stopped reading magazines years ago so a subscription package now doesn't really interest me. Not sure that anything could be added to make me want to pay for it. Neat concept though but just not for me!!

I'm in the same frame of mind as most of you. When I was younger, I loved magazines, and couldn't wait to get the next issue of many. In the past few years, however, I don't pay any attention to them, so I have no interest in News+.

Not going to pay for news content,Magazines are now far more ads than content, look at the sailing comics for the most extreme examples.

Although I think it’s a great option for those who are interested in it, but reading magazines is not my thing anymore and haven’t been for many years so I’ll pass on News+.

I would have jumped on it if it was actual news- if it included newspapers I would be all over it. Hopefully more will be added in the future.

I might keep it. Not 100% though. It’s nice but I get a lot of my news from RSS feeds

Will Apple be getting any additional newspapers for News+? For example, some regional newspapers or some European or Asian newspapers might appeal to quite a few people.

There is no telling. Apple isn’t known for being upfront about what they’re planning on the long run. Stay tuned to iMore to be up to date.

My guess is that Apple would love for other newspapers to sign on to Apple News.

What news I don't get on TV, I get on Facebook and Twitter. I rarely open the News app.

I see areas where the app and services can improve but am still happy to stick with the paid product. I'm trying that same I'm I'm trying to live without my Wall St. Journal subscription. That also mens $ saved.

    Observations:

I don't get all of the Wall St. Journal but I still get the pulse and good news. It's nice to read more papers than my standards - WSJ and NY times. I wish the app had dark mode, text only and better search. I give Apple credit for a fair mix of content aimed at a broad audience. The privacy aspects advertised are good.

It seems like a really good product for people who think popular social media is really news. As an enterprise admin I have top tier network based filtering and DNS-based security. Very often what is flagged by those systems show how people who think Facebook and Twitter are news are also being manipulated. Manipulated with false information. News and News+ are a really good way to get actual news.

For me the app will get me looking at pop stuff I'd never pursue otherwise and I wonder plus hope the quality stuff displayed on same page will get consumed by people who might not usually do that.

I'm hoping Apple will fix my complaints fast.
