Apple Music and iTunes

I have researched this for the last 1.5hrs. I need a definitive answer.
I created a playlist on Apple Music via my iPhone. I see it in iTunes on my PC. I went and added songs via iTunes to the playlist and assumed it would sync. It doesn't. I have tried everything I can think of to get it to sync to my phone. I had to go into settings, turn off iCloud Music sync and turn it back on for it to sync the songs. Do I have to do this every time I want to add songs through iTunes to my Apple Music playlists?
It is so infuriating that is this hard to figure out and potentially so inconvenient.

Any help is greatly appreciated

I don't have these sync issues between iTunes and Music.

That being said, I recommend you to disable iCloud Music Library on all your devices and re-enable it after 10 minutes.

This should hopefully fix it for you.

Thanks for the replies. I did some more digging on Apple's site and found that you can go to File>Library> And click Update iCloud Music Library to force a sync. That seems to help with the issue. I cant wait for them to fix it though, assuming they do.
