When I close the music app and come back, why do I get the Apples Music homepage?

When I close the music app and come back I get Apples music homepage

Let's say I was listening to a playlist on my iphone. I close out of the music app then open it later. I then get Apple's radio page. Before my updates when I'd open up the music I would go back to the last place I was. In this example- back at that playlist. Any way of turning this off?

I don't know what to tell you and I am unable to replicate the problem on my device. Try rebooting your device.
