How can I remove Apple Music off of my iPad? I don't want the app there and will never use it. It's taking up space that I would like to use.

You cant remove the Music app, but you can turn off Apple Music.

Settings > Music > Show Apple Music (OFF)

    This is the correct answer.

It also removes most of the junk from in the music app and some of the tabs at the bottom. Makes it more like it was in iOS 8.3, but with the "good stuff" still in tact.

Also turns off iCloud Music Library.

I tried the trial earlier. Turned all that stuff off within an hour. The app is just too busy with that stuff added and they need to do something about iCloud Music Library using iTunes Store Metadata and not what's on the PC. It causes fixed albums to get broken (split up due to metadata variations between tracks in the album) after you fix them on your PC.

They were both correct answers. I offered the way to turn off "Connect". It's part of the new Music but not included in the first answer.

Connect is really a stand-along social media platform on top of iTunes Store. It's integrated with Apple Music at the service level to limit features, but it can be used independently. It's Ping 2.0.

If you aren't going to use it, you're free to Restrict it, but if you just want to get rid of Apple Music's clutter cause you aren't going to use the service all you have to do is toggle "Apple Music" off.

They aren't really both correct, because Connect is nothing more than Ping 2.0 that gives you a few extra features if you subscribe to Apple Music. It's almost it's own service. They were just launched together and added to the app in the same update.

But does it really matter that much, probably not.
