Hi,

I need to move my music library from the local disk to a micro usb card. The card is installed at all times.

I have moved all the music folders, but I did not move the iTunes folder, it is in the same location.

I changed the music location in the preferences.

Is that it? At this point, iTunes won't play the music as it says it can't be found and then wants me to "locate" the file.

Should I keep iTunes open and will it find all the music files? Do I need to go through the "add folder" again?

This is a Windows 10 pc. Not sure if that matters or not.

Thanks for any help.

I had seen that and did follow some, but not exactly. I have another idea. I did not move my iTunes library file. I'll see about moving that and see if it helps. I can always just add my whole music directory again, but last time I did that I had two entries for all songs. The entry that it could not find and the new entry for the new song location. Guess I would need to delete the entire music library first.

Thanks for answering for me.
