I'm still rocking my 13" MacBook Pro from early 2011.
It's the 2,7GHz i7 version.
Last year I upgraded it with an 256 GB Samsung SSD, 8 GB RAM and a new battery.
Now, it's showing it's age on software side - sticking with High Sierra.
Pages, Numbers and KeyNote won't be upgradable anymore since a month.
Slowly it's time for me to upgrade, but it was an awesome companion the last decade and NEVER let me down!
With the new SSD boot time is 11 seconds - which is awesome even for todays standards.
Programs open like in an blink of an eye and when it comes to editing movies it shows it's age, but not to that point that I really needed to upgrade.
Gonna wait for the new 13" models in 2020 - but I never regretted to remain sticking with my current model.
Still in love with it and gonna be sad somehow if I leave it for a newer, greater model.
