Need to get rid to a lot of junk on my Mac. I was advised to use macfly pro and ccleaner. Heard they are secure and work pretty good. Any other cleaners? Just want to choose the best one for me.

onyx is the best, but don’t use it if you don’t know what you are doing.
macOS isn’t Windows. You don’t really need a cleaner.

I don't really recommend cleaners. Typically it's easier and safer to remove what you want yourself.

Yes, in general it is just a case of delete applications and corresponding items in the Library directory (folder). It is worth looking for an uninstalled in the Applications folder before you delete an application.

This is for a Mac or Windows: Backing up is not just a truck driver’s skill. Do your cleanup after you have known good backups.

Another tip for cleanup and the rest of computing life: Search is your friend.

Any new reliable cleaners for Mac?
CleanMyMac is my preferred app which also offers a free 7-day trial. I've used it for years and it's super handy.
