I've always used PCs - at work and at home - I'll still have one at the office and for our family laptop. But I just bought my first MacBook Air for my personal device to go along with my 6 Plus. I'm rather tech savvy and can probably figure it out after a little bit, but I wouldn't be opposed to doing some homework. Anyone have any quick pointers or directions to shine how-to articles?

In mostly using this for browsing, entertainment, and light work.

Thanks!

Is it too late to purchase the one-to-one service the
apple store offers? I think that's worthwhile.
greatly decreases the learning curve.

I think I may be able to get it. But I'm 2 hours from my nearest Apple store.

I just purchased a MacBook today, but I have been watching some videos and reading some articles related to what you're looking for, as Widener University is seriously Mac-friendly. BuzzFeed has what I think is a good video showing some tips:

Download and install better touch tool, you'll thank me later.

Get to know the keyboard shortcuts, very similar to Windows except you hit command instead of control.

Download and install Alfred. Again, you'll thank me later.

I was a Windows user and bought a MacBook pro last fall and I'm happy to be using the MB. I really like Windows 10 but my MacBook has been rock solid so far.
