Does your Mac hold up to your expectations when you bought it knowing that you would be carrying it a lot and it being portable? Does it look as good as you bought it or where does it wear the most?

I've had my MacBook for 5 full years now and with the exception of the display, it runs quite well. It still look good after 5 years, but it does have war wounds......but hey, as long as it still works, it's all good.

My 2012 rMBP still looks beautiful. But it's always on my lap or in my computer bag.

I bought it from MacMall because they had it at a slight discount to Apple Online. It was about $3100 but it was "fully loaded" with memory and processor upgrades and 512 SSD. And it was a 15". And that didn't include AppleCare.
