Why isn't my iPhone saving photo edits?

IPhone not saving photo edits

I take a photo, use the edit button to crop it and click done. The newly edited photo is saved in my camera roll. However, if I plug my phone in my computer (pc) to transfer photos, I see the original pics; not the edited ones. What do I need to do differently?

I would suggest editing with a third party photo editing app. Camera+ is a great one with a really good crop tool.
