jailbreaking gone wrong

i was trying to jailbreak my ipad 1 5.1.1, using red snow , whilw in was trying to jailbreak it the system (i pad) turned off and is not able to turn it on. what should i do?
is my pad broken down completely or else it it is a temporary issue

Which iPad? Were you on battery power at the time? Try plugging in via charger for a few hours.
