App store is stuck on iPhoto and iMovie update available but won't download, what should I do?

App store is stuck on iPhoto and iMovie update available but won't download

I don't use iPhoto but the app store keep telling me an update is available, however every time I try to update, i get an error message saying "These apps have already been accepted. They were already assigned to your Apple ID and are available".
I am running El Capitan on 5k iMac.

has storeagent hung? have you tried killing it, and reopening the store?

Had this issue this morning with the NFL app. It was stuck installing, I wiggle moded it and deleted it, then rebooted the phone and re-installed the app.

I am 9.1b5 though, so it could be a beta issue.

That basically worked for me.

There was no storeagent visible in Activity Monitor, but I killed everything that began with "store" and opened the App Store app and now it's showing iMovie updated.
