I am trying to redeem a code for a game and when I do the initial password input it pops up with that saying that it is unable to process the request try again later with the option of cancel or retry. Has anybody seen anything like this? This is the first time that I have received this. I have logged out and even reset password and now I can't even log back in. I am on 5s with 7.0.4

I don't recall getting a message like that. The only ones I've ever gotten were the ones that stated that the code had already been redeemed.

Oh okay. Unless something is messed on on Apple's end, try logging out of the iTunes & App Store, rebooting your device and then log back in and try again to see if that helps.

I have tried a second reboot and still receiving this. IDK, It might just be on apples end.

Update: Good news! I just tried to sign in through settings and it asked about Payment info. Now working.

I saw mention on Twitter earlier today there was an issue affecting some users that involved this 'fatal error'... apparently on Apple's end that's now remedied.. at least for the OP...
