Low volume even when turned all the way up.

Has anyone had this issue and know how to fix it? I’ve done the obvious like making sure they are clean and disconnecting and re-pairing them but the volume is still very low even when turned all the way up.

Use a (old) toothbrush to clean the protective mesh in the AirPods.
I had that done at the Apple Store and the difference was like night and day.

Hadn’t thought of that. I’ll give it a shot. No solvents or anything right. Just a dry toothbrush?

Yep, dry is fine.

Do you have Volume Limit enabled? Go to Settings>Music and it’ll be near the bottom.

Volume limit was not enabled so I can rule that out.

Totally worked! Didn’t even appear that anything came out of it but the difference is night and day. Thanks for the tip
