Worked for me as well. Like you said you have to be quick! Once I finally was able to purchase I had 8 other orders out there! Don't loose hope. I know I did, after receiving confirmations then hours later to be told they were out of stock. Then this past week tons of alerts come in, I was able to order 4 because I never knew what would go through. I had to cancel 2 pairs. The best luck with this site have been Apple stores for me.

I too secured a pair via this website. Definitely recommend. As soon as I got the notification I jumped into the Apple Store app and ordered mine.

What's the best way to get notified? I've been using my hotmail address, downloaded the outlook app and set it to alerts. Then to mirror notifications on my watch. Haven't had any come through since setting this up yet to see if it's fast enough.

Even though you select alerts on the website doesn't it mostly come down to how fast your email pushes the alerts?

I just used Gmail with the Gmail app pushing the notification. My buddy had the same service but his went to junk while mine went to inbox. Best to add the email to your contacts so it comes through.

I'm ecstatic. Been wanting them for awhile. Waited for reviews before ordering and then it was like March before they would arrive. I really think they will be fantastic for work to listen to music or podcasts as I do my paperwork.

Yes it's a good service. I got a text today that it was in stock at Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. Ordered it while on the Metro. Lost signal a few times but finally order went through and I picked it up today.

I'd been checking the local store(s) [lots to choose from here] and only the farthest one showed any. Not wanting to drive 2 hours, I held out. Started heading to lunch and 5 min after my last check, got an email from IsInStock that the closest store had them. Ordered and picked up that day

I also found that calling the Apple Store at 8am works as well. That is when they get the inventory for the day. At least around here they do.

That was my experience as well. I was able to order right after I got the email notice. Enjoy your new AirPods!

Seriously though. If you call the Apple Store in the morning, they can tell you if they got any in. They are getting a few at a time.

Thanks!!! I impulsively decided just today that I wanted a pair, but none are in stock anywhere. I wasn't familiar with isinstock, but after seeing your post I signed up and already got a notification that AT&T Online has them. Ordered!
