AirPods work fine, except on one app

My AirPods work for Apple songs, Internet videos (YouTube, etc.). But one of my 3rd party music apps, zMP3 Pro, plays on my iPhone, but will not play on my AirPods. When I look for audio options, the AirPods don't appear when I'm using this app (they do for other apps). Is there any way to make my AirPods pick up the audio for this app? Thanks.

That is odd.. My AirPods work with all of my apps, both the Apple ones and the Third party ones.

Does the app work with other BT headphones or corded ones? You could try removing the app and reinstalling, and you can try to reboot the phone as well.
