I have a Siri remote that came with ATV 4g. I am not sure if the remote is working. Obviously, when I use the remote with an ATV, it doesn't respond even though I press down Menu + Volume + at the same time. I would like to pair the remote with my iMac to check the battery level. Once I pair the remote to the iMac, it doesn't give me any info on the battery level.

What is the best way to troubleshoot a Siri remote? Is there any tools or utilities to help troubleshoot the remote?

As far as I know there is no tools or utilities for trouble shooting the Apple TV remote. Here is a guide by Apple on how to check the battery level and other info on the remote. Hope this helps. Thanks.
