Oops, you are talking about a multifunction Apple pen, not a stylus. Notes app has some handwriting function, but not too useful IMO.

I was going to buy  Pencil even tho I don't have an iPad Pro. I think they're that cool. I would walk around with it tucked behind my ear, and people would ask "is that an  Pencil"? and I would reply "Why yes it is", "Thanks for asking"...

Absolutely not. The Note 8 comes with a stylus. Why would I want to pay $100 for something that should come with the device for free?

This. As much as I like my 7 Plus I would have never bought it if the Note 7 had not been recalled. The S-Pen is a very useful tool and convenient to store right in the phone. Of course all that being said I am now the owner of the 7 Plus, Apple Watch and MacBook Pro. All started with returning the Note 7.

I couldn’t agree more, I enjoyed using the SPen with my Note back in the day.

My hairdresser has payment set up on her phone. She has a rubber tip stylus to use to sign. Apple missing the boat not letting Pencil Work on iphone
