Just wondered what if any tech bags people use... thinking of getting something more suitable for holiday etc rather than putting cables, laptops etc into main suitcase

I use a backpack with pockets, zipped sections and compartments for everyday use and travel.

Ghostek NRG backpack. It has a 7000 mAh battery built in.

7,000 amp? 7,000 mAh sounds more like it!

I use a Brenthaven messenger bag. I like it because it's a tech bag but doesn't look like a tech bag.

Brenthaven Collins Ultra-Padded Messenger Bag for 15.4-Inch Macbooks, Laptops and Ultrabooks, Grey (1906101) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BQU0ZRG...mUvbUpU2747004

Unfortunately it's discontinued. I bought it about three years ago. Nonetheless, they have current selection at www.brenthaven.com.

I just use one of those cloth bags that are used in grocery markets. Nothing fancy.

Not to sound like a jerk but did you really have to go out of your way to be a grammar Nazi over a abbreviation? My bad for not using mAh, I'll make sure not to make that mistake again. s/

Agreed, it's just that milliamp hours are a unit of longevity while amperage is a unit of power.

Because some folks might be confused or misled by it. We all make mistakes on these tiny keyboards. I know I do.
Besides, the smiley face was to indicate a good natured rib poke.

A couple of years ago, I found a tech bag for my iPad at Office Depot. It's called a "Ativa Mobil IT Ultimate Travel Essential Netbook Caddy". It's no longer available at Office Depot, but it is available on Amazon.

I really like it. There are plenty of pockets, and it is perfect for traveling. However, because I carry a lot of stuff, I put this inside of a messenger bag to use on a daily basis. It is small enough to allow for other things. But when flying, it's perfect to carry my iPhone, my iPad, and other essentials, specially given the carry on limitations!

I don't really own a tech bag, but I do use a Travel Journal by TwelveSouth.
