Apple Leather case - Difference?

Hey,
I Wondering if the leather case is different this year? (from iphone 6 leather)
Is there a different texture?

Welcome to iMore! I didn't own a leather case until I got my 6s Plus so I don't have a basis for comparison, but I have heard from others that Apple is using a higher quality leather this year. Again, I can't tell you for sure but that's what I've been told.

YES, ther is a BIG difference between last year Apple Leather cases and this years. This year"s Apple Leather cases are heavier and made with European Leather as stated on the new packaging. Last year's Leather was more rubbery and a lesser quality grade of leather. I have both and there is a definite difference.
