So I got my resurgence yesterday. So far I'm in love. My phone works perfectly connected to my Pioneer radio in my truck. It still syncs to iTunes. It basically does everything it would do with the lightning cable. Yet the case uses a micro usb. It's heavy, I mean it's not like I am dying holding the phone. But I am going from a Rhinoshield Crash Guard to this. I got a really sweet deal at best buy. Took a printout of the price at Amazon (79.99) to best buy and they price matched. My phone feels safe in this case. I have a Zagg glass on the screen. They apparently got rid of the corded extender for the headphones and put a solid piece for you to use. I know it comes down to personal preference but does anyone have this case? How do you like it? I'm wondering if I should have just gotten a portable battery?

Looks GOOD. I may have to invest if I get the iPhone 6s. I noticed the Resurgence isn't available for the 6 Plus yet, so I guess it depends on which new iPhone I get.

This is good to know about it working as if you were using the lightning cable directly. I am still trying to figure out if the same goes for the Lifeproof Fre Power.

I tried the Resurgence at Best Buy. I liked everything about it except the placement of the USB connection.
