I'm looking for a case/bumper to protect my phone. I plan on putting on the ZAGG invisible shield to prevent the screen from shattering/scratching. I love the sleakness of the 5s, so I'd like to get to find a balance between protecting the phone and avoiding a bulky case. Right now I'm leaning towards a 'bumper' style case that leaves the back of the phone exposed, but covers the buttons and sides of the phone. Any general thoughts or specific suggestions as to what cases/bumpers I should consider?

I suggest you start at the iMore Store. They have a good selection to choose from.

Nothing really caught my eye. They didn't have many bumper cases, which is what I was hoping for. Anyone else?

Best Buy has a few bumper style cases, some come in 3-packs. There are also cases such as the Griffin Reveal that have a bumper but also cover the back with a clear plastic Help me chose a 5s case-imageuploadedbytapatalk1391093568.894849.jpgHelp me chose a 5s case-imageuploadedbytapatalk1391093578.660464.jpg

I suggest the Spigen line up of cases. Their Ultra Hybrid bumper case comes in a variety of colors including a nice Crystal Clear bumper

How's the durability? If it drops 3 ft, do I have to worry about buttons breaking?

Anything could break depending how and where and what it falls on.
A direct hit vs a glancing hit.

My current set up is the Zagg Invisible Shield HD and the Incipio Feather Shine Navy blue. Looks pretty sleek. (On my 5, not 5S)
