My New Genuine Leather Wallet Case for My 5S

Bought it from Amazon from vendor Shop-Leather. Its genuine leather and hand made. Only cost me $30 and took only just under 2 weeks to arrive from Israel. I was pretty apprehensive about ordering something from Amazon that was being fulfilled outside the US since Amazon was quoting delivery between Nov 4 - Nov 28th, but the vendor even stated in their listing that its about 7-17 business days.

I am very pleased with this case so far. Hands downs better that every leather case on Amazon and I really dig the fact that its hand made in Israel instead of mass-manufactured like all the other 1 million + cases for the iphone.

Anyways, just wanted to share and I have posted pics below.

It has a plastic slim case attached to it...just like the ones Spigen uses in their wallet cases.

Your case looks ok, but I remain a loyal member of Team bookbook. They are the original and imo, nobody does it better.

I have never personally owned a BookBook, but I have read alot of reviews on Amazon that felt that the quality of the newer iphone 5/5S bookbook is not up to par with the one for the 4S.

I am not 100% sure but I actually went to Shop-Leather's website recently and saw that they do make the iphone 5/5S leather cases in a few different colors, but cannot remember 100% if black is listed or not. I bought mine from Shop-Leather through Amazon's website prior to checking the vendors website. They actually make genuine leather cases for other phones, and they also make leather bags and satchels as well.

You might to check their website to confirm if Black is available for the 5/5S.

My main grouse with bookcases is the need for 2 handed operation( or a delay caused due to flipping the case open with your thumb and then trying to swipe to answer), when you need to answer an incoming call.

Yes, I am still using this case today. It has held up to constant use extremely well. Head and shoulders above BookBook by TwelveSouth and a bunch of other cases I have tried. I am actually going to order another one in Black.
