Tips anyone?

I love my iPad. My problem is that I have a Kensington keyboard case that has the magnet in it so when I close the cover it locks the device. My problem is that when I fold the cover to read the magnet trips the lock screen also. Anyone got a fix for this?

How are you folding it? Shouldn't it fold behind your iPad, and the magnets only lock when touching the open side.
