It looks like a broken port waiting to happen. This dock is just a block of wood with a lightning cable sticking up through it. It definitely needs some support for the iPhone while connected to the cable...

To be honest, for 8$ this dock gets the job done. I've been using it for a 2 days and so far i'm loving it! I will post some pictures with my iPhone 5 docked on it when i got some other camera, cause for now, iPhone 5's camera is the only one i have LOL
