EarPod issues...

Is anybody else experiencing issues with the EarPods?
When I put mine in, if I touch the headphone jack it gets all fuzzy and the noise cuts out. Did I just get a defective pair? This also seemed to happen with the original earbuds that Apple included with their iPods and iPhones.

It does it for me (scratchy, but noise doesn't cut out) and the Earpods. Doesn't happen with my Shure headphones.

Do you think if I took them to an Apple Store (ordered my i5 from Apple.com) that they'd give me a replacement pair?

They are under warranty.
I noticed mine does the same thing. It's worse when I plug them into my old 4S

You can try, but there's enough people saying here that I wonder if it is something with the batch of them...

Used them on my iPhone 4S and they crackle when you move the jack. They're comfortable, but they do crackle a lot.
