Cases for iPhone 4S

Just received my Vapor Pro and my Vapor Comp and I'm pleased. Packing was great I was expecting it to come in a plastic ziplock bag but it had original wrapping and everything. Stunned me a little bit. I put the Pro on first but kinda had an issue with the side buttons being exposed so I switched to the Comp. I'll probably switch back later tonight honestly. Going to miss the little protection I got from my Candyshell around the edges but I'll just protect my investment a little bit more. Click to view quoted image

Ordered on the 8th. Just got here. Thinking about giving my girlfriend one but I don't have the patience of taking hers off when she wants to put another on.

I'm actually considering buying a Vapor Pro for my Verizon iPhone 4S, but haven't seen much of anything regarding reception issues persisting as they were in the Vapor 4, which I have. Who is your carrier, and have you noticed any (at all) signal strength differences with the phone between caseless and with the vapor pro?

Got a case today - Musubo Eden in White/green. Really like that it's two pieces so it comes in about 6 colours and you can mix and match the colour inlay.

Alright, I need some advice fellow iPhone case lovers.

I'm heading to Vegas this summer on a family vacation. I'd like to get a "wallet" like case for when I'm heading to the casino (something like the Incipio Stowaway or Speck card case - just something I can put my ID and cash in). Anyone have either of these? I'd like some insight from people have go have these.

Also, I keep seeing the CandyShells on Amazon for $10-$15. I was also contemplating picking up one of those. Unfortunately, I can't see any of them in person. Are any of the colored cases more masculine? I don't want to order one and then be disappointed with the color selection. Thanks all!!

I would be careful if they're that cheap a they are likely knock offs and badly made.

Hmmm, well I found a Candy Shell for $5. I'm pretty sure it'll be a knock off but for $5 I'm willing to find out!! I'll report back once I get it. It's supposed to be here Wednesday.

Awesome to hear! The order is fulfilled through Amazon so that added some creditability. I ordered my PixelSkin HD the same way and it was a legit product sold at a 60-something% discount. I'm sure hoping they are legit! We shall see.

I order alot off amazon including repair parts read people's reviews before choosing a seller also look at sellers info sometimes saving a buck is not worth it. Also be where of stuff sent from Hongkong or you'll be waiting 3 weeks for your stuff

If it was purchased through Amazon itself and not a subseller then its likely legit. Amazon is an authorized Speck reseller.

However if its $5 and not sold by Amazon directly, its a poorly made knockoff with bad plastics, colour bleed, and bad silicone. And if you go to Speck about those issues they can't warranty support it because you got scammed.

People here have had very bad experiences with cheap knockoffs.

Yeah, I just verified and the two cases are coming from Amazon. Not sure if they are selling the item directly or just fulfilling the order. Either way, I can deal directly with them and return the case if it's a knock off. I'm anxious for them to get here!

Wow less than a day
here's the pics - I also have the black/purple which looks real sharp too. I couldn't get a shot of it, I didn't have it with me. I love this case & use it daily but i charge my phone every 2 days cord free

your welcome Brinda. I like the way the color pops as well. I did have the white/gray which looked real sharp as well especially if you don't want too much of a color transition between the case & your phone. I had a problem with the bottom battery light indicator so I returned it & BestBuy didn't have another one to swap it out for so I took my refund & ordered the black/purple directly from Mophie. (it's how I got the black/pink one also-directly from mophie)

I am nitpicky and can tell you the the white of the phone is slightly creamier in tone than the white on the mophie. I find I don't use it as often as I normally would because the white case/off white phone clashes and I can't take it.

So that's something to consider.

I'm on Verizon and have the iPhone 4s too... I have the Vapor Pro Stealth and love it. Haven't taken it off my phone since I got it, about 2 months ago. No reception issues.

I never had any signal issues with my Vapor cases either. I have both a Pro and a Comp.

Just wanted to report back, I got one of the two CandyShells I ordered from Amazon and it's an official case. Came in the standard Speck packaging with the case installation instructions/warranty that, supposedly, only come with official cases. Whew! I gambled but at least it paid off!

Reene & Brinda - for the couple of weeks I had the white Mophie plus, the color was identical to my white iPhone, because believe me Reene, I would've been nit picky about the color variation also. I wonder did Mophie re vamp the color since you had yours so that the match was just about perfect. ?? Possibility
